I chose to study Finance because of my enjoyment of the field. Since a young age I have been fascinated with the concepts of money, interest rates, and investments. While my understanding of the subject was much more naive than it is now, I feel my passion for the subject has not changed. I feel that my desire to learn more about the subject has positively affected my understanding of the business world. Although I have not taken many upper level courses, I am confident that I will grasp any topic that presents itself.

 

Upon graduation, I plan to utilize all of the skills I acquired during my studies to pursue a successful career. While I understand that receiving a master's degree in business would increase my knowledge, I feel that by getting a job after college will help build the foundation that I need to advance in the business world. Additionally, the idea of using my skills to help make a company more profitable is exciting. I hope that I achieve a position that allows me to thrive in any given situation.
